We are seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented Roofing & Maintenance Operatives to join our team, with positions available nationwide.

The ideal candidates will have demonstrable experience working within various roofing environments, proficiently handling multiple systems and materials. Essential knowledge of health and safety procedures and site setup is required, along with excellent communication skills at all levels. Strong organisational capabilities, effective decision-making, and self-motivation are essential attributes. Candidates must be team-oriented, proactive, and committed to meeting project goals.

Key responsibilities include:

✅ Attending project briefings as required, fully understanding customer requirements, risk assessments, and method statements, and proactively suggesting improvements to enhance project outcomes.

✅ Adhering strictly to all company standards and policies regarding Health, Safety, Quality, Environmental Management, and Customer Service.

Requirements:

📌 Valid CSCS Card
🚗 Clean driving licence (Company Van with fuel card provided)
💻 Basic computer/tablet literacy (Company tablet provided)

Throwback Thursday | McVitie’s Factory, Stockport

Taking it back 10 years to one of our earlier “Spotlights on Service” projects at the McVitie’s factory in Stockport—home of the iconic Jaffa Cakes, with over 42 million produced every week.

Working as both contractor and consultant, our team delivered roofing and cladding refurbishment works within a live 24/7 production environment—collaborating closely with the client to ensure safety, quality, and minimal disruption throughout.

We’re proud to showcase our latest project at Cedar House, where our team was appointed to assess and refurbish a roof that had reached the end of its serviceable life—causing water ingress and disruption to residents.

Through a carefully planned, phased approach, we delivered a full roof replacement while maintaining building integrity and minimising disruption in a live student accommodation environment.

A key part of the project included the safe removal and reinstallation of the existing solar PV system, along with upgrades such as enhanced edge protection and permanent access systems—ensuring long-term safety, performance, and maintainability.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our dear colleague and friend, Dave Rankin.

Dave was a valued member of our team whose dedication, kindness, and positive spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of working with him. His loss will be felt deeply across our business and by all who knew him.

Our thoughts are with Dave’s wife, Louise, his family, and loved ones during this very difficult time.

He will be greatly missed.
