The past few months have been some of the most challenging of my life. What was meant to be a routine operation turned into something far more serious, and I found myself fighting just to get back on my feet. In that time, I missed Christmas, New Year, and even my 40th birthday — moments you never get back, especially with the people who matter most.
That said, I’m incredibly grateful to still be here, to be recovering, and to be able to slowly return to doing what I love.
This week marks my first job back, and I’m pleased to be getting back into it with the support of my friend Phill at The Heat Network — it means a lot to have good people around you as you take those first steps back.
I want to take a moment to sincerely thank all of my customers for your patience and understanding while I’ve been away. Your support hasn’t gone unnoticed, and it’s meant more than I can properly put into words.
This experience has given me a completely new perspective — not just on life, but on business too. Resilience isn’t just a word; it’s something you live through. And one thing that’s clearer than ever is how important it is to surround yourself with the right people — those who support you, step up when it matters, and remind you that you’re not alone. Strong networks and genuine teamwork are everything.
Most importantly, I want to give a massive shoutout to my wife. She quite literally put her own life on hold to take care of me and help me recover. I’m genuinely humbled by her love, strength, and support. I couldn’t have got through this without her.
Life is short — that’s something I won’t be taking for granted anymore. Moving forward with a fresh perspective, a lot of gratitude, and a renewed focus on what truly matters.
Thank you all again for being part of the journey.
