Fife’s Empty Homes Matchmaker Scheme is now running alongside Scotland’s national scheme, to give you more options.

Connor and Callum Clark from Clark Property Group were looking for a new project and were matched with a rundown property in Kirkcaldy that proved quite the challenge. But the brothers were able to meet that head on and transform it completely into a brand new home ready for new occupants.

So, how does the scheme work?

National Matchmaker Scheme: You now have the option of advertising your long-term empty property for sale on the National Matchmaker Scheme.

Your property will be advertised online and available for all to see, so you will get more exposure.

🏠 Falkland Kitchen Transformation 🔥

This kitchen needed more than just a facelift, so we took it right back and rebuilt it properly from the ground up. ✅

The old kitchen was fully ripped out and the space stripped back so we could start fresh and fix a few issues that had built up over the years.

Work carried out on this one:

• Old kitchen removed and disposed of
• New kitchen designed and installed with integrated appliances
• New water main supply brought into the property
• Brand new plumbing & heating system installed, including a new radiator in the kitchen
• Fully rewired with new spotlights, switches and sockets
• Rotten floor joists removed and replaced before the floor was levelled and screeded
• ⁠Doorway between kitchen & Downstairs bedroom blocked
• Walls plastered, then painted and decorated
• New external door and internal half-glazed oak door fitted
• New laminate flooring installed
• New skirtings and facings to finish the room properly

A lot of work goes into these projects that you don’t always see once everything is finished, but doing it properly now means the house is modern, safe and built to last. 😎
