We carried out a recent solar proofing job in Glenrothes as the customer was starting to have nesting pigeons underneath them.
Bird guano is harmful when dried as it can become airborne, not only that bird nests hoard all sorts of insect pests that can also invade your home and annihilate any natural products you may have such as wool jumpers, natural fibre carpets and so much more.
Preventing birds from harbouring under your solar will also prevent damage to wires due to the acid from guano along with prolonged pecking. Fitting a coated galvanised mesh will also help prevent it from rusting quickly it will also prevent other larger pest species from entering easy 🦅 🐿️

Bird work carried out in Arbroath today to install the irritator packs and wide gull spikes from Defender Bird Spikes.
Customer has been having issues with gulls nesting and perching on and around two chimney stacks previous years.
Areas of installation were wire brushed, brushed then washed with a biocide then a base substrate for glue adhesion for installation of anti roosting spikes to be installed to tips of chimney stacks and base at rear. Chimney pot crowns were installed to the tops of each pot as to prevent perching.

Irritator strips were fixed permanently to the wall of the chimney at the rear with the addition of wide spikes at base as to prevent nesting here.

Another satisfactory result and another happy customer.

Job work carried out today to a property in Rosyth for gulls and pigeons roosting and perching on/around chimney.
Areas were wire brushed then swept, a light biocide wash before installation of anti roosting spikes. Television ariel’s were also spiked to prevent landing here.

Job done before the rain started too! Phew 😮‍💨

Job today was in Kirkcaldy to install anti roosting spike to this customers roof area where pigeons were sat perched under the soffit box, this then led guano to build up on top and under roof tiles not to mention the stack of guano inside the guttering and downpipe.
We were initially instructed to carry out one side of anti rooting spikes however once explained to the customer that pigeons may start to roost to the front of the property after rear roof installation was completed. So two sides agreed and done today.

No more perching birds here ✅
No more guano cleaning for customers ✅
Guttering and down pipes work as they should ✅
Happy customer ✅

Another busy Saturday doing bird work in Dunfermline today 🥳
Customer has been having on going Gull activity for the last few years and have had enough of the mess and being attacked while enjoying their garden.

We fitted the irritator pack from Defender Bird Spikes for those awkward places around the soffit box and gutter drop within a dead space on the roof. Accompanying the irritators are extra wide gull spiking fitted to roof tiles as to maintain prevention of roosting bird activity, we ran the spikes along the running edge under the soffit box section then irritator to the edge and corner or the property to prevent ingress and perching here.

Areas were cleaned pre installation and near 3 bags of waste removed from site.

Another satisfactory job done and customer is beaming 😁 that they will have no further activity here.

Bird proofing job carried out today in Buckhaven for pigeons nesting under a soffit box, perching on downpipes- while also clambering up the wall behind the downpipe then onto it, then dropping their daily feed bi-products on the ground below. Customer also found them perched on her bathroom window sill defecating onto the door step below making it a slip hazard and a health hazard ⚠️

We visited today and carried out anti roosting spikes to soffit/roof section, window ledge, flue and down pipe-angled on side on purpose to prevent access to rear of pipe.

All debris cleaned and removed from site, satisfactory job done and another happy customer 😄🥳

We were passed a job via a friend of ours for a drain inspection due to rat activity within the property. We found a defect within the pipeline that were allowing rats access into the wall cavity and then anywhere within said property.

We also found that the drain chamber had no proper cover and just a slab placed over it, again due to this it allowed rats access under the slab and then into the waste pipe leading into the defective pipe under the house. We fitted a non return valve to prevent any further activity from the field and then fitted a new drain chamber base and cover.

Benching within chamber walls were sealed with cement as access noted into the walkways then into the house again via a defective chamber wall.

No more rat 🐀 ingress here!!
