Did you know that your modem, car interior or local cash machine may have been hand-painted right here in Glenrothes?

It was fascinating to visit Eurospray and meet with Jim who showed me the wide variety of products and parts that are powder coated at their local facility. I'll never look at a chip and pin machine in the same way again!

Did you know that nearly 15 years ago, components for the James Webb Space Telescope were painted in Glenrothes by Eurospray Limited. Working with the Royal Observatory in Edinburgh, parts for the Mid-Infrared Instrument (MIRI) - the Spectrometer Pre-Optics - were painted using a high specification space coating.
