We've had a lovely young couple purchase their first home together in the area and last week we had the pleasure of being part of their journey 🏡 😘.

It's always lovely to see young people getting on in life 🙏 What a beautiful little home it's going to be 👌

These were all old frames, replaced with beautiful white . They have it all to do, but this was an exciting phase for sure.

Well I can't believe it if I'm honest 🙈

That's our Boys with us on their work placement. It definitely makes us feel a tiny bit old 😂 It was just a steady one to break them in today, a little bit of a tidy up in the lock up and a few tonnes of sand shoveled 😜

Both did very well, we'll have them in their own van by the end of next week 😆

It's a pleasure to be able to offer this for them. 👌 We are now part of the work placement scheme, so hopefully we can continue to offer these experiences to the local youngsters.

We always forget to make people aware of the Repair side to our business.

Today we've allowed our lovely customer to use their windows again 😁

As you can see in the video, the old friction hinges have snapped, which is causing the window to drop away from the frame and stopping the sash from closing correctly, which as a result causes drafts and high noise levels.

We have first replaced the hinges with the correct size of hinge. There was a 300mm set of hinges on a 600mm sash, which just isn't enough to hold the weight. These were replaced with a set of 400mm hinges, which will do the job this time around 💪

Then we adjusted the keeps and tightened the handles to help with the overall working of the mechanism and then finally a wee oil up 😁

This is a service that really helps keep our windows and doors working well for as long as possible.

Little bit of a mixture this evening, as we haven't posted in a while.

We have been extremely busy with a few larger projects on the side, along with our full houses each week 🙏 Long may it continue 😘

Some lovely from our Portico Doors selection. These guys are great to have on side 👌

Along with some full house's and window to door , these open up the living spaces perfectly.

We are onto our second full house of windows and doors tomorrow, so a massive thank you to our Team for continuing hard work. We appreciate you 💪

🩷 Little moments that make our showroom feel like home ❤️

While Mummy and Daddy are busy helping customers choose their dream doors, little Daisy has turned the sample display into her own little play area!
From building “castles” with colour samples to hiding behind the pink door display 😁

We have two hard working Mummy's in the office and not always can they organise child care. At P&L Windows and Doors We are happy to help make life as easy as possible, No childcare?.... No Problem 😀😍

This one is an absolute cracker 😍

Apologies for the delay on this one but we had a little wait for the correct worktops to finish this off correctly.

I think we can all agree, that it was definitely worth the wait. 👌

We have opened up the back of this property with a beautiful set of Black on Black , which really does transform the living space.

We then built up the french door set to a window, to allow us to reconfigure the sink area. We've had to reroute the main water and wastes to allow this to happen. 😭😭😂

We always try to do our best to cause as little upheaval as possible for our customers, so we managed to cut the floor back and refit this to match in with the existing. This was far from easy but we think it looks beautiful ❤️
