Been a while since we posted any photos of jobs we have completed , we will be more active on social media again from today and will be updating our page with photos of all our completed jobs over the last year.

Here are some before and after photos of a lead job we completed yesterday in Methil, fife.

Unfortunately this customer was left with some bad workmanship after a previous company attempted to install lead to the copes, due to this we had to remove all the old lead , frame out the copes and board with 18mm osb board, we also cut out the sarkin two trusses wide from the copes and installed new sarkin board.

We then installed new side slips with 450mm code 5 lead, then 600mm code 5 lead over the top of the copes.

We then slated the roof back in and capped of the chimney.

Before and after photos of a Strip and retile we recently completed in Glenrothes this roof got the full works roof was completely stripped back to the trusses new 9mm osb board installed , membrane installed , counter battened , tile battened using 25x50 treated timber followed by

• Removing all the facia and installing new white hollow soffit

• 18mm white facia boards

• New black deep flow guttering and downpipes

• Stripping of both flat roofs and installing new 18mm osb boards and a 3 layer felt roof system

• New grey shiplap cladding installed to the dormer

We then finished of this roof by tiling it with a grey Russell pennine interlocking concrete tile and a maintenance free dry ridge and verge system

Another strip and re tile completed last week in Rosyth next door to the roof we just done previously

Roof was fully stripped back to the sarkin boards new membrane installed , counter battened , tile battened using 25x50 treated timber, chimney removed and boarded over , new gutters installed and new sky light window replacement installed, roof was then finished with brown Russell pennine tiles and dry ridge and hip systems.

Strip and re-tile complete in Rosyth weather held us back a bit but we still managed to get the job done , next door neighbour seen the finished product and decided to get booked in to get their roof replaced to freshen up the look of their home and some peace of mind for the winter ahead 🥶🥶

Thanks to Owen Kingdom waste management and power washing for helping us get rid of the old roof and disposing it properly highly recommend these guys if you have any waste removed or power washing done.

100m2 strip and re-tile started today for a returning customer in Rosyth

Roof has been stripped back to the sarkin new felt installed , counter battened and tile battened using 25x50 treated timber , bonding gutter installed to separate roof from adjoining property ready for deep flow guttering to be installed tomorrow and get the roof loaded out with the new tiles.

Pictures will be added in a few days of completed roof 🔨⚒️

Before and after photos of a new roof installation completed in July for a customer in methil

Roof was stripped back to the sarking, replacing all defective sarkin, roof was then felted using good quality membrane.

We then installed

• counter batten

• 25x50 treated tile batten

• Installed new black deep flow guttering and downpipes

• New GRP valley

• Tiled using grey Russell pennine tiles

• Maintenance free dry ridge and hip systems installed

New roof installation completed in upper largo this week

Something a bit different for us on this new roof customer wanted a solar system installed but wasn’t keen on having big solar panels on his roof so we installed these new solar tiles 😍

Roof was completely stripped back to the sarkin new membrane installed , counter batten , tile batten and valleys were replaced. Front of the property was tiled with just standard concrete tiles then on the back elevation we installed 600 solar tiles!

Solar tiles are on at a fixed gauge this is the reason for the short courses on the back of the property

Don’t like the look of solar panels but want the benefits why not give us a call to arrange a free quotation for a solar tile roof install!

If you don’t have much space on your roof to install solar panels due to velux windows etc it can now be achieved with solar tiles 😎😍
