Another report rat issue.

This customer had already been dealing with ongoing rat issues for over a month with another pest control company, but he was still hearing noises in the attic and the entry point still hadn’t been located.

On my first visit, I carried out a full inspection and quickly identified the access point underneath the decking in the back garden. I also noticed bird feeders in a neighbouring garden, which can often provide a reliable food source and attract rodents into the area.

Control measures were put in place immediately and within just 5 days a rat was found in the garden, heavily affected by the treatment. I attended promptly to remove it safely and replenish bait stations.

One more follow-up visit is planned to monitor activity and make sure the problem is fully resolved.

🐀 Rat Prevention Tips:
• Avoid leaving bird food on the ground overnight
• Store rubbish securely with lids closed
• Remove clutter and overgrown vegetation where rats can hide
• Check decking, sheds and extensions for gaps or burrow points

🐀🔦 YEARS of rat activity… and finally the entry point has been found.

This customer had multiple pest control companies out over the years, but the problem kept coming back because nobody could pinpoint exactly how the rats were getting into the attic.

Using professional tracking dust and UV light inspection, we were able to trace the rats’ movement route and identify the hidden access point they’ve been using. ✅

Finding the entry point is the key to solving the problem properly — not just treating the symptoms. Now we can move forward with proofing, prevention, and getting this attic rat-free for good.

🐭 Pest Control Update – Mice Activity 🐭

We’ve identified signs of mice entering the property through air vents and a damaged area in the flooring where pipework comes up beneath the kickboard.

To tackle the issue, traps have been strategically placed in high-risk areas where activity has been detected. These will be monitored and checked over the next 3–5 days to assess effectiveness and determine next steps.

We’ll continue to keep a close eye on the situation and take further action if necessary to ensure the problem is fully resolved.

Back at it again — a few more moles caught following up from my last post on mole control.
