As we go into our 8th trading year work starts on an exciting project for a customer who has supported us from the start, infact its a project that has been getting planned since we first opened our doors and we cant wait to see it all come together.

Happy new year- yes we are a bit late but since officially starting back on the 5th we have not stopped!

First 2 weeks in January is always a little manic with alot of our clients closed they all fight for their ppm slots.
Add in a Air con system move, a couple of installations, 1 being Chesterfield in the snow, upgrading 3 outdoor units to external coldrooms in a snow storm was never going to be glamorous (Emma is still defrosting her toes), breakdowns, portable Air Con units delivered to a failed server room, new client meetings, new contracts starting, and a site meeting to sign off the final layout for a big project starting in the next few weeks, its certainly been a full on 10 days!
I think we might even try fit in a day off at the weekend 🤞

In other news, Bill retired in December, so you will be either happy or sad that you will be seeing more of Darrens cheery face back where he belongs (out of the office)

Today the guys are in St Andrews, Dalgety Bay and near Biggar so if you see them give them a wave.

Coldroom dedications.
Unfortunately this one had to go to a friend of Darren & Emma who sadly lost his battle, with the horrible C word- they felt it was only fitting as they are both away building these rooms therefore missing his funeral today. Today they will be remembering Ross and the adventures they all had.

Since his passing many of our customers have spoke about the amazing chef Ross was , he was the most loving father and a great friend to many- even though Emma is still waiting on him taking charge of the AGM bbq and cooking that pineapple.

Bit of a different emergency call on our return yesterday, .sinclair_fishmerchants was broken into at somepoint on Saturday night, a phone call you never want from any of your customers needing help to secure their building.

The team still haven't been allowed in to see the extent of the damage or what's been taken so if anyone has any information please get in touch with them or the police.
No buisness should have to go through being broken into or stollen from.

Important Update

Unfortunately our Kirkcaldy store was broken into on Saturday night.

As of right now we don’t know the full extent of damages and so this week may see some disruption to our day to day running in our Kirkcaldy branch. This will not impact our Burntisland store.

We do plan to be open tomorrow, Tuesday 30th, from 8am as usual but we ask that you be patient with us as we do our best to get back to normal.

We also ask that if anyone has any information regarding the incident that occurred Saturday night, that they contact us or the police.

Thank you to Darren at East Coast Refrigeration for going above and beyond to get our premises secure after the incident. Not the return from holiday he’d have wanted but we appreciate them massively for the help.

Nice new energy efficient cabinet supplied and installed by us for one of our long standing clients Premier Store St Monans, after the old open fronted cabinet started to become unreliable.

By using us for the full removal, disposal, supply and installation this cut out all the hassle and stress our client would have had dealing with a mail order company.

Our Trailers been out earning it's keep this last fortnight. Tallships festival last week, and now half an hour north for the next 10 days, I wonder where our client will take it next
