So...I'm not normally one for throwing people or their companies under the bus (so I wont be mentioning any names!) But we got a phone call from a friend of ours asking if we could help out a friend of his whos decorators had walked off site because they wernt making anymore money from the job! That in itself isn't on, it shouldn't be the customers fault if the decorating firm over ran, or didn't price it correctly!

I went to take a look.... and well the standard of works that had been carried out was well below par.... almost like an apprentice had carried it out.
I walked into areas that the client had been told were finished....I thought they hadn't been started!!!

Filler that looked like it had been put on with a spade.... even wood areas painted that were never supposed to be, such as Oak caps for the stairs, and beams in bedrooms that were supposed to be on show 🤦‍♂️

They were told a white ceiling would look rubbish and to colour drench it with the walls would look better, it was an awkward ceiling to get to but we gave the client what they wanted instead of taking the easy way out! 💪

Now we gave them a reduced day rate to help them out financially and it took a week for x2 men to undo everything and to put it right to a standard the client was happy with!

Other rooms still need to be addressed and put right but we simply only had 1 week in the diary.

This isn't the 1st time I've been called to put this firms work right, so all im saying is.....

Don't always believe the pictures or videos you see from firms on here...ask them for recent clients feedback, do your own research!! Because these firms who look like they have lots of work, arent always carrying out the best work!!

Some pictures below of the filling I walked into.... (which when sanded wasnt actually filling anything! Just put on for show!)
And then pictures of how we left it. 👏👌

I see them getting tagged in lots of posts on Facebook too for work.... so im sure ill be round to them after to put more works right 🤦‍♂️

Be carefull guys!!!

Wrapped this one today for some good friends 💙❤️.

Recently moved in so wanted some more grown up spaces for their Children, just waiting for 1 last item for their boys room to be added for the big reveal but will be such a treat for him!

Carpets in this week will certainly transform these spaces.

More to attack on this house and can't wait to show you all the results when its done, Luke is a top Carpenter and what he has in mind for his family home will be amazing. Keep those eyes peeled guys! 👀👀👀🖌🖌🖌
