โš’๏ธ Sometimes a โ€œsimple jobโ€ quickly turns into something much biggerโ€ฆ

This project originally started as a straightforward bath replacement with new aqua panels. Once we opened everything up, we uncovered a severely rotten structural triple joist that was supporting the upstairs floor.

From there, the job became a full structural repair and renovation project involving:

โ€ข Removal of damaged walls and ceilings
โ€ข Full replacement of rotten structural timbers with new triple joists
โ€ข Re-supporting the upstairs safely
โ€ข Reworking electrics and plumbing
โ€ข New boarding, flooring and plaster repairs
โ€ข Rebuilding and finishing the affected areas
โ€ข Full bathroom re-fit to complete the job properly

Not every issue is visible until the work begins โ€” but when problems appear, they need fixing correctly, not covering up.

Really pleased with how this one turned out and, most importantly, the property is now structurally sound and ready for years to come ๐Ÿ‘Œ
