I’m sure we put a job vacancy post out more often than the labour government makes a U turn but here we are again.

Due to continued growth and the inept ability to find the stray fo****in in a Jewish boarding school we find ourself seeking a couple of experienced ground workers for full time employment in the Gloucestershire area. (Although not confined to may I add.)

All the usual conditions apply:-

* If you’re still taking colostrum off your mother-DONT APPLY.
* If drink and drugs are more important to you than brushing your teeth- DONT APPLY.
* If you 23 and have 65yrs experience in everything from cooking school dinners to heart surgery-DONT APPLY.
* If you can’t get your lazy ass out of bed then stay voting for the green party and DONT APPLY.
* If you’re old, fat, lazy, ugly and stink-DONT APPLY (because I’ve filled that position already).

However let’s end this on a good note:-

DO APPLY IF-

* You have experience in Groundworks,
* You are punctual and well kept.
* You have a full uk driving licence.
* You can work as part of a close knit team and be self motivated.
* You have a uk passport or visa,
* You don’t mind working out doors.
* You have a sense of humour.
* You have relative qualifications such as cscs, cpcs, sssts, smsts, first aid at work, street works etc.

Good start to a new site with demolition of existing extensions and retaining walls completed and underpinning of an old grade 2 listed Manor House well underway.
Soon be ready for the next phase of the rebuild.

SDG are actively seeking an experienced working foreman for sites in Gloucestershire.

We offer a full time position and PAYE, Weekly pay, company vehicle for work usage, PPE and uniform provided. Pension contributions.

What we require:-

* Maintain our high standard of finishing and attention to detail.
* Someone who can read drawings,
* Maintain health and safety on site,
* Liaise with clients and keep records of work, * keep to schedules and budgets.
* Be responsible for ordering materials and plant.
* Work alongside existing Groundworkers and get stuck in.

DO NOT APPLY IF:-

* You can’t speak English.
* You can’t do any of the above.
* You been a supervisor at Waitrose. (Other supermarkets are available).
* You don’t like rain or mud.
* You support Liverpool. ( only joking I like laughing at people less fortunate than myself 😁).

Abit of AG spec concrete gone down this week.
Bases and floated bolt boxes set, excavated 300mm of spoil, 150mm of compacted type 1, shuttering set and 150mm of concrete poured.
Brush finish to external feed passage and groover trowel finish to cattle standing area.

Now awaiting the shed before finishing off.

Recent driveway job finally had the tarmac surface laid and batters topsoiled.
