Enhanced battery safety shouldn't mean compromising on weight, production efficiency, or scalability.

ContraFlame® F40 has been developed to provide advanced thermal runaway protection while supporting streamlined production processes. The material can act as an efficient alternative to pre-formed mica solutions, with easy application through standard dosing systems and fast room-temperature curing.

Its lightweight formulation helps manufacturers reduce unnecessary mass while adding critical protection against flames and rebounding particles during thermal runaway events.

The result is a solution that helps reduce operational risk, simplify application, and support safer battery pack design for the next generation of electric vehicles.

We have strengthened our hydrostatic testing capability at our Skelmersdale facility with the installation of four new state-of-the-art pressure vessels within our Hydrostatic Test Centre.

Ian McKay, Test and Development Supervisor at CRP Subsea, said:
“This investment represents a significant step forward for our hydrostatic testing capability in Skelmersdale. The new IBL vessels significantly improve efficiency and overall testing capability, while automation and data logging strengthen our ability to deliver high-integrity, fully traceable testing in-house for our customers.”
