It’s always satisfying to see a roof come together properly, especially when each layer has a purpose. This one in Leckhampton, Cheltenham was stripped back and rebuilt with new felt and battens, upgraded eaves ventilation, and finished with anthracite grey concrete interlocking tiles for a smart, durable look 🏠🔧

We also fitted dry verge and dry ridge for a tidy, secure edge and ridge line, plus new leadwork around the chimney stack and three vent tiles to help the roof breathe.

A smart new roof can completely change the look of a home, and this one in Leckhampton, Cheltenham is a great example 🏡

We stripped the existing pitched roof back and rebuilt it with fresh felt and battens to create a strong, weather-tight base. Ventilation was improved with over fascia vents and three vent tiles, and we fitted eave trays to support drainage at the roof edge.

The finished look comes from anthracite grey concrete interlocking tiles, paired with a dry ridge and dry verge system for a clean, low-maintenance finish. New leadwork around the chimney stack was added to keep those key junctions properly sealed for the long run.

In Gloucester, we turned a roofing mishap into a success story. The homeowner was experiencing persistent leaks, and our Roofing Specialist was called in to diagnose the issue. When we inspected the leak, our team discovered that mortar had been used over a fibreglass sheet instead of proper lead flashing. To fix this, we removed the fibreglass tray and grinded into the render. We then expertly installed lead flashing and an EPDM cover strip on the concrete window sill, ensuring a durable and leak-free finish. 🏠🔧

We completed a roofing project for two new builds in Cirencester. Here’s how we brought it all together. 🏠

First, we laid a solid foundation with felt and batten, ensuring the roof's strength and durability. Then, we added Spanish slates, which not only look great but also stand up well to the elements.

For efficient water management, we installed an EPDM Box gutter, keeping everything watertight. Finally, the Dry Verge system was put in place to offer extra protection against the wind and rain.
