A little houseplant tinkering this morning 🌿🪴… just hoping I haven’t accidentally killed them all! 😅

Meanwhile, outside, Wayne has been busy working on the steps. 🛠️ That progress will be coming in the next reel, so keep your eyes peeled! 👀

We’ve finally finished the inside of the house 🎉 — just the outside to tackle now. Then it’s full steam ahead on the chapel! ⛪️❤️

We’re getting there… slowly but surely! 😁

A little front-of-house makeover this week with a splash of paint! 🎨✨

HALL, STAIRS & LANDING — FINISHED!

We’ve given the hall, stairs and landing a complete makeover — a new bannister, tiled floor, stair runner, panelling, new lighting and, of course, a fresh coat of paint.

We’re SO happy with how it’s all come together, and it feels like a completely different space now! 😍

A few days ago, this beautiful antique piano arrived at our Victorian home, kindly gifted by .davies.399 ❤️

Built around 1910, it's almost the same age as the house, making it feel like it was always meant to be here.

When it arrived, it was a little worse for wear and badly out of tune, so we called in David Peter, a piano tuner with 38 years of experience. After working his magic, it now sounds absolutely wonderful 🎹✨

We still need to give it a thorough clean and restore the finish with some French polishing, but already it's transformed the living room and added so much character and warmth.

Now all that's left is for us to learn how to play it... wish us luck! 😅

We have sold/given away so many pews from the chapel, it is so nice to see one in situ 😍

When we first looked at this garden, it was easy to see how much work it needs 🌿
It’s overgrown, a bit chaotic… and definitely not “done”.

But honestly? I kind of love it like this.

All the wildflowers, the mix of colours, the way it just does its own thing… there’s something really lovely about it.

We will sort it out and make it our own eventually.
But for now, I’m happy just enjoying this stage while it lasts.

Because not everything has to be perfect to be beautiful 💛

This is the 'before' of our Victorian terrace bathroom renovation… and yes, it’s a full rip out 👀

We always planned a complete bathroom remodel — that huge bath might look beautiful, but it just wasn’t practical for modern living.

What we didn’t expect was how much work it would take to get back to square one…
A full week removing the bath, ripping out the raised platform, and replacing outdated bathroom plumbing that was too narrow to drain properly 😅

The bath did go to a good home 👍

This is the messy stage of a home renovation project — the real behind-the-scenes of a period property renovation.

Our new bathroom suite is on order, so next comes the exciting part of this bathroom transformation. We’ll be sharing every step as the renovation progress unfolds 🤍
