Our latest kitchen installation. Challenging in parts, getting the larder unit to fit around the staircase for one, but well worth it. Kitchen supplied by Kitchen Supplier Direct. Great local team so give them a call if you’re in the market for a quality product and service. Floor laid by Solent Flooring. Excellent quality and finish. Especially considering what they started with. Acoustic wall panels and a pocket door.

A major project undertaken earlier this year. This shows the devastation that a consistent leak can cause followed by an outbreak of dry rot over many years. The whole plate supporting the roof was completely rotten and had to be replaced along with roof joists and rafters. The ceiling in the main entrance hall had fallen in so after investigation I found the issue. The lead on the roof sump had perished and water was pouring in behind the wall.
It was at this point the work to be completed was a complete strip out of the lead covered roof, bathroom, floor and entrance hall ceiling including curved plaster and ornate plaster coving. A considerable amount of work but the end results are very satisfying…🔨🪚
