Four Seasons Landscape and Garden Services were privileged to be chosen to construct a wildlife educational garden at Swanwick Lakes Nature Reserve and Education.

This was not your average garden makeover!

We transformed an unusable, overgrown, crowded space into a thriving environment for wildlife, planting and education. Following a bespoke design provided by the staff at the Centre which included a raised dipping pond, planting areas, composting section, fencing and paving. Part of the project was to provide accessible areas for wheelchair users so that they can also safely enjoy these facilities.

It was a pleasure to work in such a beautiful environment and to provide an area that will be accessed by many for educational purposes. As you can see from our customers feedback we met with their expectations from planning through to preparation and completion.

Autumn is drawing in 🍂 which is the perfect time to consider replacing old fencing. Plants will be dying off and access is at its best.

This is a recent project completed for one of our many clients. The main purpose of the fence installation was to ensure their pet dog didn't escape their beautiful garden. As he is a small terrier notorious for digging under fences, we installed a 6" concrete barrier beneath the entire length of the fence. It was an unusual request but a rewarding project and our customer was thoroughly satisfied as you can see from his review on Checkatrade.

There was also a requirement to install several gates and trellis.

It's not just the large jobs that we like getting stuck into. This fence replacement in Porchester was very satisfying to construct and has made an immediate improvement to the front of our customers driveway.

Two three metre close board bays supported by concrete posts and concrete gravel boards. A strong yet attractive fence line perfect for this type of project.

Two satisfied Four Seasons customers in one hit! A small section of fencing needing replacing so both neighbours decided to go halves on the cost of installing the new. A great way to solve the problem and save money.

The old larch lap panels and wooden posts were replaced with high quality close board panels supported by concrete slotted posts and concrete gravel boards. This type of fence will last many years and the panels can be easily replaced, however you can expect at least 15 years out of them.

As you can see from both of the neighbours feedback we exceeded their expectations and they were both very pleased with our service and work. We have already been invited back to do more work.

Despite the rain we completed this fencing project in two days 🙌🏻

There is more to the installation of a fence line than throwing a few posts and panels up! Four Seasons Landscapes ensure...

Posts will be two feet in the ground to offer stability✔️
If boundaries allow we will install a straight fence line ✔️
If gradients allow panel tops will run level ✔️
Post to panel heights will match ✔️
Land retention will be dealt with using concrete gravel boards ✔️

A fence line constructed using concrete posts and gravel boards will last many years. With concrete slotted posts, panels can be easily replaced and you can expect a good 15 years life span depending on exposure to the elements. All of the timber we use is pressure treated against insect and fungal rot.
