The roofing trade has been in my family for four generations dating back to 1860, here's Grandad Fred Squibb on the left with his work gang, Uncle Eric secound from left, Uncle Jim third from the right, with my Dad Roy secound from right with Uncle Dave with a load of 16 plain tiles on his head in front of him, which he will eventually build up to a load of 24, tradional method of bumbing the tiles up onto the roof was on your head, guess that.s why I loved being in the trade, it was born in me with my DNA

Recent re-roofing job with new Tyvek breather membrane felt and battens with new cement fibre slates, roof had been leaking because of Redland Renowns that had been fitted, but they are not designed for a low pitch roof
