Meet the Team - Adrian, Head of Masonry ⚒️

Adrian developed his passion for stonework from an early age, working alongside his father in the family remedial and renovation business throughout his school and college years.

His studies initially led him towards another passion: fish and aquaculture. He later built successful careers within the pharmaceutical and medical equipment industries, where he developed extensive expertise in sales, training, project management, customer relations becoming a senior manager. These roles provided opportunities to work internationally, including positions across Vietnam and East Asia, broadening both his professional experience and cultural perspective.

In 2014, Adrian took a year-long career break to fulfil his ambition of cycling the length of Vietnam before volunteering at a gibbon sanctuary in Phuket, Thailand. The experience broadened his horizons and reinforced the value of meaningful work, personal growth and new challenges.

Adrian always maintained a strong connection to the family business. Today, he combines his experience of practical masonry with organisational, problem-solving and communication skills gained throughout his entire career. This unique blend of traditional craftsmanship and professional expertise enables him to deliver high-quality resolutions to restoration and conservation work with a strong focus on customer service, project planning, and attention to detail.

Jack has been Director of Dower Damp Proofing since 2021, bringing with him a solid foundation in the construction industry. With a background as a Project Manager working across both residential and commercial buildings, he has developed an in-depth understanding of how structures are built and how issues such as damp can arise over time. A stand out project for Jack has been the opportunity to work on a large commercial basement in Paddington, London.

Combining his practical experience with specialist knowledge, Jack takes a thorough approach to every survey; diagnosing the root causes of damp, condensation and structural concerns, ensuring that each solution is effective, long-lasting, and tailored to the property.
