Hello everyone,

Here at Wakley Electrical we hope you are all keeping safe and well during this very worrying time.

We will be continuing to undertake our planned jobs as far as possible whilst keeping in line with Government advice.
We along with many small businesses will be experiencing great disruption and cancellations well into July. As much as this isn’t ideal, there’s nothing we can do but try and survive as a small family business. We are following daily updates from the Prime Minister and are pleased to hear and trying to keep optimistic about the help that is on its way for businesses.

We will continue providing the best service to our clients and protect the health of our people, and our customers. We are following guidance to help prevent the spread of any infection through hazard assessment, we are doing so in line with preventative guidance from Public Health Authority. We have also made a series of adjustments to our handling procedures. We are keeping our ways of working under continuous review.

On a more positive note, we would like to offer a free delivery service throughout Grantham and surrounding villages to those that are elderly. From picking up your shopping, medication, deliveries, anything that requires transport that you don’t have access to, please send a message on 07803 177 030 or an email to [email protected] and we will do our best to help.

We are still here to help with your electrical and plumbing issues. We are happy to work with you so you feel safe to have the work undertaken whilst complying with the safe distance and safe working procedures.

Buying a new home, selling your home or you are a Landlord....

Do you need an Electrical Installation Condition Report ?
An electrical installation condition report (EICR) identifies any
damage, deterioration, defects and/or conditions which may give
rise to danger along with observations for which improvement
is recommended.

The purpose of an EICR (also known as periodic inspection and
testing of an electrical installation), is to determine, so far as is
reasonably practicable, whether the installation is in a satisfactory condition for continued service.

It is generally recommended that an EICR is carried out every
ten years (five for privately rented properties) or when there is a
change of occupancy in a dwelling.
