Trees shut down over winter, store energy, then wait for the days to get longer. Once that light hits the right point, growth starts again. Temperature just decides how fast it all happens.
And here’s the bit most people don’t realise… those buds were already formed last year. Spring just brings them out.
Blossom isn’t just for looks either. It’s how trees reproduce, supports pollinators, and sets everything up for the rest of the year.
