Job Completed – Upminster

We’ve just completed a full fascia and soffit replacement on a property in Upminster, where the existing boards were old and no longer fit for purpose.

The works included:
• Full removal of the old fascias and soffits
• Installation of 18mm fascia board (installed correctly, not capped)
• New white fascias and white soffits for a clean, modern finish
• New brown round guttering to complement the property

This upgrade improves both the appearance of the property and its long-term protection against water ingress and rot.

Another job completed in Chafford Hundred!
The customer had fascia and soffits that had been rotting away for nearly 20 years — the original boards from when the house was built. They’d started to sag, absorb water and attract mould, so it was definitely time for a full replacement.
We’ve now fitted brand-new UPVC fascia boards, soffits and new guttering across the whole property.
These are built to last, easy to maintain and simple to wipe down when needed. No more rot, no more painting, and a much cleaner finish to the home.

Back to posting again!

We’ve been so busy on the tools lately, but here’s one of the recent jobs we completed.

The porch had old hanging tiles that were leaking and had been painted over more times than we could count. We stripped everything back, replaced all the tiles, updated the building paper, and fitted the correct soakers to make sure there’s no more water ingress.

It was a fiddly little job, but it came out spot on.

We also took care of the fascia and soffit on the front porch to give it a clean, finished look.

Another happy customer and another porch protected for years to come!

Full Roof Replacement – Southend-on-Sea 🏡

We’ve just completed a full roof replacement on a home in Southend-on-Sea, and this one had a bit of everything!

The original roof was an old clay tile system with poor ventilation and two unused chimney stacks — both of which we removed to modernise and tidy up the roofline. The homeowner had ongoing issues with birds nesting due to poor insulation and gaps throughout the roof structure.

✅ We stripped it back and installed breathable ventilation felt to act as a secondary waterproof barrier beneath the tiles.
✅ The loft insulation was increased from 150mm to 350mm, bringing it well above the minimum thermal standards required by Building Control — making a huge difference in energy efficiency.
✅ The project was inspected at stages by Building Control due to the insulation works, and we’re pleased to say they were happy all the way through.

It’s not common for Building Control to attend a standard roof job, but when insulation upgrades are involved, their sign-off is key — and this one passed with no issues.

Check out this recent project we completed! While we didn’t capture before shots, the transformation is clear. We’ve taken this home’s roofline to the next level:

-Fascia Upgrade: The old black fascia was replaced with sleek Anthracite to modernize the look and complement the house.
-Soffit Transformation: The previously black soffits were updated to Anthracite as well, bringing a contemporary, cohesive feel to the home.
-Canopy Revamp: A fresh, modern Anthracite canopy was added to make the entrance pop.
