“ Beautiful Beige “ quite the transformation here using porcelain beige , this area was in need of a makeover and not maximising it’s potential and space , so the only thing to do was take it all out and start from the bottom up , beige porcelain from along with all the aggregates , type1 granite , sand/cement etc as always , topsoil and turf from wrights turf and finally grouted using flexible grout , creating a more spacious garden using modern products along with old traditional bricks really showed in the style . smallbuisness landscaper essex patio patiodesign patioideas landscapingdesign landscapingideas

“ Labour intensive “ This project was a real work out for us here at MWS , access was limited to 600mm with a nice right angle bend in the path , which then included 2 steps down, using next doors drive but still not being able to get a wheel barrow in so the faithful trug buckets from where used , but all that aside what a result at the end , the paving used on this project was crossover white from and grouted using tile grout , as always layed on terram , type1 granite and 50mm sharp sand a cement mix , full bed as always and primed using easy prime , aswell as the paving all materials used including bricks were from , lucky for us the topsoil in the garden was fantastic so all by hand we cut off the old turf , rotavated the area and cut and filled the garden to get it back to somewhere near level and re turfed , the above project was completed by 3 people , and a big thanks to aswell for cracking this one out to allow us to continue on with the project 👌. essex patio patiodesign patioideas landscapingdesign landscapingideas

The “RUSTIC GREY” a nice variation here , rustic grey sandstone and oak sleepers supplied once again from and two shed bases at 150mm depth with steel mesh and finished with the easy float 👌 drainage installed each side of the retaining wall , aco drainage for collecting patio water and a perforated 110mm pipe to collect water from the lawn that was falling toward the patio , all in all a great space ticking both boxes of practical and pretty 🤩.

From the front to the back MODAK is where it’s at , here we have a front and back garden transformation using modak sandstone from with a sandstone brick wall and path border all pointed using a mushroom coloured resin mixture from , the brief was simple , easy to maintain but making the most of the space available whilst incorporating some curves to soften the appearance and be within keeping of the rest of the garden .

PRETTY AND PRACTICAL , this project was all about making the garden a lot more useable for an elderly couple but still feeling like a garden than being covered in concrete ramps , by using tatra beige from and grouting from the area is completely smooth and trip hazard free bar the step , we was asked to keep the step but instal the step at a manageable height , so we did exactly this and bordered the step to break up the paving to help distinguish the step , we also installed the two handrails as requested , once again we ordered the stainless steel from who did not disappoint , the materials came in straight lengths , bends and end caps and not forgetting the high quality wall mount , all welded together by a close friend of MWS .

Small but sweet , no before pics like a plum but here we have some porcelain from which has a real rustic feel which was very well suited to this property and its age , just showing you can mix the modern products with there durability and easy maintenance along with longevity whilst still capturing the age appropriate feel of the surroundings .

A tough one this one ❌ no access side or rear ❌ so all materials in and out had to be transported through the dining room into the kitchen and through the garage , a lot of manual work completed by 2 , but well worth the effort , kandla grey porcelain and classic turf from and 6mmx300mm steel with steel coping to soften the apprearance from .

SIMPLY EFFECTIVE , this little project had a straight forward brief , big enough for a big family table but leaving enough lawn for summer days , easy to maintain which is always a big plus for using porcelain , installing these larger tiles (1200x600) which were hales beige from all layed in a third bond style also means less joints , as always the grouting was done using dark grey to enhance the paving colours .
