At SJW Farms we also take on workshop projects this week a Brian leg dump trailer arrived in the yard that we recently bought out of on auction.

Over the next couple of weeks we will be restoring this dump trailer to its former glory by putting a new sheet metal floor in it and doing a rewire of the lights so it’s safe for us to haul around on the roads.

🎄Christmas has come early at SJW Farms, a new to us Case MXM arrived in the yard yesterday morning. We look forward to getting it work. It’s first job being going to cut some hedges.

Wet day today 🌧️ back in shed re-baling any misshape bales or ones with broken strings. To make sure we keep enough stock to get our customers through the winter.

🌱To all the people who say you can’t reseed after September. Yes you can! This is a fresh ley of grass for hay 2026 which was drilled in the middle of October. Now 3 weeks later we have emergence.
