New radiator fitted today 🔥🔧

We boxed the pipes in with wood rather than plastic trunking, so the customer can paint it to match her walls for a tidy finish.

The screw holes were filled with decorator’s caulk, ready for decorating. It’s the little details that make a difference 👌

We’ve asked her to send us a photo once it’s painted—looking forward to seeing the finished result!

🔥 GAS STOVE INSTALLATION – ANOTHER JOB COMPLETED! 🔥

Something a little different today!

We were called out to a property where a previous company had installed this lovely gas stove but unfortunately hadn’t sleeved the gas pipe correctly through a solid wall.

We were asked to come in, put things right and complete the installation properly.

It’s been a while since I’ve fitted a gas fire, so this one took me a little longer than expected, but I’m certainly impressed with the finished result! 👌🔥

🔧 Work carried out:

✅ Corrected and repiped the gas supply installation

✅ Installed and connected the gas stove

✅ Connected and secured the flue to the appliance

✅ Tested the flue and carried out spillage testing

✅ Tested the flame failure device (FFD)

✅ Fully commissioned and safety tested the appliance

✅ All checks completed satisfactorily

The end result speaks for itself! 🔥

There’s something really satisfying about seeing a job through from start to finish, especially when you’re putting right work that wasn’t completed correctly in the first place.

It might have taken a little longer than planned, but I’d rather take my time and get the job done properly than rush something as important as a gas appliance installation.

And just look at that finished fire! 😍🔥

Quality workmanship, attention to detail and safety always come first.

🔧🤣 THE JOB THAT STARTED WITH “JUST CAP A FEW PIPES!” 🤯

Famous last words… 😂

Originally, I was only called out to cap some pipes before a brand-new kitchen went in.

Then came… “Can you pipe everything up under the sink as well?”

It was late, I gave a price, agreed to the job and didn’t quite realise what I’d signed myself up for! 🤣

Now, I’m a plumber and I’ll tackle pretty much anything, but under kitchen sinks have got to be my LEAST favourite jobs! 🤯

Throw in an unbranded Quooker-style boiling-water tap and enough pipework to make your head spin… and you’ve got yourself a proper challenge! 🔧💦

⏰ 3 visits
🔧 Around 8 hours of work
💧 One little weep on the waste spotted during testing and sorted
✅ Everything fitted, tested and leak-free!

The customers were an absolutely brilliant couple, excited to move into their brand-new home. And understandably, they wanted everything just right!

I won’t lie, this one tested my patience, my back and probably my sanity! 😂

But we got there in the end! 💪

And if I’m being completely truthful… I hope I never have to squeeze myself back into that cupboard again! 🤣🤣
