We have been invited back to this beauty to get a few snaps and talk to our returning customer about their next project!

We will be looking at a bathroom revamp this time!

Anyway here are some pictures, painted and now lived in.

This included, walls removal, kitchen removal, alot of gas work which needed renewing throughout and big chimney flue hole through a 3ft thick wall in to a loft space and out through the roof. Kitchen install old granite worktop cut reshaped and reinstalled. Traditional oak floors sanded and revarnished, aluminium doors through out the downstairs stairs, timber doors through out upstairs to match the glazed units down stairs.

Well, we have hit obstacle after obstacle on this one but abit of skirting, abit of architrave and sockets and switches to be swapped over and the kitchen and utility will be done.

Aluminium doors installed through out down stairs, full rip out, plumbing, electrics, plastering, tiling and new kitchen fitted, gas fire along with the house being regassed because it had been piped up with the incorrect gas pipes, and finally painted.

Thank you to everyone thats been on this one to do their bits.

Just the new doors to be swung upstairs now.

We're abit late on this one but we hope everyone had a brilliant Christmas and new year!

We hit the ground running this year and haven't let up, the plumbers Yorkshire Gas & Oil Ltd did brilliant shifts through christmas and new year to re gas our customer in darley. We have given the floor the first sand, plastering has happened, tiling is happening, kitchen is just about complete, painting is happening and the internal aluminium doors have arrived and going in, this week we will be finished by the end of this week.

Our job in Levisham has started, oil tank base is dug and hard cored, oil line trench is dug, plumbers Joe Phillips have put down their base for the oil boiler, and currently piping up the inside of the house, we have just about complete the demolishing and ready to insulate where needed and start the rebuild process.

We are also going to be getting the ball rolling for our job in Thirsk in the next few weeks.

Just in time, this little annex has had some challenges throughout the job but nothing we couldn't sort out.

We were contacted initially because of water damage from rodents, the insurance company recommended a full strip out back to brick, electrics removed and floor removed, we have made some changes along the way to the customers specification and we are left with this beautiful usable annex space.

Today has consisted of digging a trench for an oil line, letting the plumbers fit it, filling it back over and getting a new oil tabk in to place for them.

We've also has a builders clean completed at great ouseburn, just awaiting a shower screen and last little bits to complete there.

Great ouseburn job is coming to an end, abit of plastering, skirting, bathroom, tiling and install, a touch of render and we will be about complete.

Rear wall is now out at darley, stone surround installed and ready to recieve its sliding door next week.

What have we been up to this week?

Kitchen in darley removed, originally carefully to be reused but the units weren't what the customer expected behind the fronts ( a poorly made hand made kitchen) so is now looking at a new kitchen from Howarth Harrogate. Granite removed and will be repurposed on to the new kitchen.

Kitchen fit has been completed to a point (just waiting on some bits from magnet kitchens) with compact laminate work tops.

We have also completed the drainage on the single story extension for Y/W and set up temporary wastes for the customer just awaiting Y/W inspection, new drainage will be going in when we start the footings.

Here at KCP we are currently looking for a general builder to join the team.

Brick laying, block work, stud work, plasterboarding and the other bits inbetween.

Plenty of work on so on going work for the right candidate.

Own transport needed to get to and from the jobs.

Well, thats the window in on the Great Ouseburn job, 2nd fix electrics under way and kitchen delivered ready to be installed next week!

We have broken ground on the Little Ouseburn single story extension to start with the drainage adjustment, concrete coal bunker down and in the skip, flags and concrete pad broken up and skipped and hard core taken up ready for some digging this weekend.

Current extension to be dismantled in the next few weeks and footings will start being dug.
