Ardgowan Distillery Airbnb Cottage
We’ve been a bit quiet on social media recently, but that’s only because we’ve been flat out on site. We’ve got a number of completed projects to share over the next couple of weeks, starting with this fantastic Airbnb cottage at Ardgowan Distillery.
This project involved a complete redecoration throughout the entire property, with a huge amount of preparation work carried out before a brush even touched the walls.
Every surface was thoroughly sanded, filled and prepared. Windows were re-sealed where required, imperfections were repaired throughout, and a great deal of time was invested into achieving a flawless finish. As always, preparation was key.
A massive amount of credit goes to Henry and Martin on this one. Their attention to detail and commitment to getting the prep work right made all the difference to the final result.
The colour scheme was selected using Farrow & Ball colours, professionally mixed into Johnstone’s products to achieve the desired look throughout the cottage. All white ceilings were finished in Anti-Reflex, giving an ultra-flat finish and helping eliminate light reflection and flashing for a clean, premium appearance.
The woodwork wasn’t left behind either. Doors, panelling and timber features were all finished in colour to complement the design scheme and bring the whole property together.
From the living spaces and bedrooms to the hallways, bathrooms and woodwork, the entire cottage received the full MHF treatment.
