HOW TO CUT DOWN YOUR HEATING BILLS
As a Heating engineer, Gas and Electrician I would recommend a full visual/ thermal image inspection on your Central Heating System.
This will be done by:
A) Inspecting all radiators using thermal image camera, checking for sludge build up and cold spots in the pipe work and radiators.
B) Manual and thermal image checking of all radiator valves for any restriction on the heating flow.
C) Sizes of expansion vessel on combi boilers to be checked and serviced to the required specification of your system requirements.
If your boiler is firing on both hot water and heating but the HEAT OUT PUT is poor, I would recommend the above steps.
And a Central Heating POWER FLUSH to be carried out.
The Power flush machine will be connected in parallel on your central heating for maximum effect and not in series with the radiators.
I use a Pro Flush Power Flushing Machine with a thermal heating element and Filter which collects all metallic particles and sludge which have built up in your pipe work.
