Re: Humberston Fitties – Traffic Management and Parking on Park
We write to inform you that, week commencing 11 May 2026, nine new speed bumps will be installed across Humberston Fitties Park as part of our ongoing traffic management review, the locations of each installation is shown on the enclosed map.
Regrettably, there has been a recent incident involving a speeding vehicle, which resulted in the loss of a much-loved family pet belonging to a holiday homeowner on the park.
We cannot stress enough the importance of adhering to the parks mandatory speed limit as per point 12 of the park rules, which is in place to protect the safety of all visitors and wildlife:-
12. Vehicle speeds must not exceed 10mph at all times.
As part of our continued traffic management efforts, should you witness what you believe to be speeding on the park, please report this directly to us by either visiting the community office, telephone or email on the contact details above.
We have also noted an increase in vehicles being parked on roadsides and grass verges. We would like to remind all owners of the following park rule:
17. Owners and visitor’s cars must be parked within the holiday home boundary to prevent any blockages or inconvenience to parks users, if space does not permit, alternative parking should be sought within a designated parking area. Do not obstruct roadways for ease of emergency vehicle access if required. The Company will request that cars are relocated if their position is causing a blockage or inconvenience to other park users.
We have received reports of driveways being obstructed by visitors parking inappropriately. Parking on roadsides or grass verges can encourage similar behaviour from visitors, leading to further issues.
We kindly request that all vehicles are parked within your plot boundary wherever possible. If this is not feasible, please use the designated on-site car park until space becomes available.
Should you have any queries, please contact a member of the Humberston Fitties Team on 01472 802021 or via email at [email protected]
Yours sincerely
