Great little job this morning, k**b wouldn't stay attached to the door. Most of the timber had gone over the years and various attempts at filling the hole had been made. Removed section of timber, replaced with new, reduced the screw lengths as they were catching the lock, filled joints and sanded, all good to paint now.

Some time ago a gentleman crossed the road to where I was working and asked, could I look at his alcove as he wanted some extra storage. I called over and had a good discussion with him and his good lady, we discussed their ideas, and from those I put a sketch together for them. I was awarded the job, and some weeks later called and made the installation. I've attached the sketch, and an image of the work done. Its lovely people and jobs like this that still interest me now as much as they did when I first started. This will be my last post of the year as I am now stopping till January, I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and an equally great New Year, thank you all for your support over the last year, and hope to see you all again in 2026 as its all of you that make it all worthwhile.
