Another garden makeover done in Reawla… this one is for a hot tub so there’s some serious support under the deck to take the weight! The customer loves the sea so we went for a design with curves and as few straight lines as possible. They are already asking when we can come back to do more… Lovely family and a very photogenic pup!

Nice to have a commission piece finished… a Spalted Sycamore chopping board. The process started in December 2024 when a lovely old sycamore came down on our land near Truro… since then, it’s been milled, dried, planed, sanded and oiled, all in our own workshop. The photo doesn’t do justice to the beautiful grain and figuring in the wood!

Despite the heat, we thoroughly enjoyed transforming this garden with bespoke fencing (nearly 50m of it!) The different styles demarcated the areas well and the customer was over the moon with it! Lovely customer and the ice lollies were very much appreciated!!! 😊☀️☀️☀️🍦🍦🍦

Phew!!! It’s a warm one here in Reawla… but still cracking on with a garden makeover… 12ftx12ft premium decking with pergola… still to come- glazing panels for the roof, raised planters, modern slat fencing and gravel cooking area. Watch this space!

Not my usual kind of job as only the framework required carpentry but just finished an outside loo renovation for a lovely couple who I built a summer house for. UPVC cladding to the walls and ceiling, new concealed LED lighting and a new toilet with integrated hand basin. Even installed a new vent with covers through the block wall.

Before and after… a couple of revived cast iron garden chairs for a lovely lady! New oiled Oak slats and new metal bottom braces made and fitted. The lady wanted the iron ends left as is, to show the patina… I would have chosen the same! Great to breathe new life into this pair!
