The hallmark of a great project is the same as a great engineer: precision, reliability, and results you can trust.

We really enjoyed working with TR Fastenings at their Uckfield site, supporting a long-standing commitment to quality, safety and environmental responsibility.

The brief was clear - deliver a renewable energy system that cuts costs and carbon without compromising engineering standards or operational safety. The result is a 558 kW solar PV system, made up of 1,284 high-efficiency panels, designed to integrate seamlessly into a live industrial environment.

The outcomes speak for themselves:
✔️£116,562 estimated annual saving / income
✔️2 years 5 months estimated payback
✔️£4m+ projected financial benefit over 20 years
✔️5,900+ tonnes of CO₂ saved over the system lifetime

Nothing beats helping a local brewery go greener - especially when it also happens to be where we host the odd team night 🍻

We love working with Gun Brewery - an award-winning Sussex brewery that decided to cut carbon (and costs) by installing solar at their new premises.

With brilliant support from their customers via a crowdfunder, Gun Brewery installed
a 21kW solar PV system that now:

☀️Powers daytime brewing operations
☀️Slashes electricity bills (with payback estimated at ~3 years)
☀️Will save 249 tonnes of CO₂ over 20 years ( the equivalent of planting 7,000–10,000 trees)

To celebrate switching on the system, we even teamed up on a collaboration beer, Solager, a summer hopped lager that tastes even better knowing it’s brewed with solar ☀️🍺

Training the next generation of heat pump engineers starts with real systems… not just textbooks.

We partnered with North Kent College to install air source and ground source heat pump training rigs at their Tonbridge campus, giving students hands-on experience with the technologies shaping the UK’s low-carbon future.

These live, working systems allow learners to build practical skills, understand real-world performance, and leave college better prepared for careers in the renewable energy sector.

A great example of education aligning with industry needs and investing in the workforce of tomorrow.
