mpetitive price. All our cord wood is sourced environmentally through companies that use sustainable harvesting. Woodland management is required for growing high quality sustainable timber and to fulfil the role of a naturally functioning Forest. After the cordwood is brought into our yard we begin the process of chopping and splitting the wood to our 9 inch standard sized log or you can have logs cut to a specified size using our own wood processor. Having our own wood processor enables us to process our own logs, which in turn enables us to provide you with high quality, well seasoned logs at competitive prices. Our logs are available all year round and are seasoned for at least 12 months and are a mix of Beech, Ash, Oak, Birch and Hornbeam, each with its own positive contribution to the mixed load that we deliver! (Although ours is well seasoned!!!)
Beech - Good all round burner. Ash - Produces a steady flame with good heat output. Hornbeam - Is very calorific producing the most heat due to its low moisture content. Oak - Smoulders all night!
