A few weeks ago saw the 2nd round of the Spanish National Championship which took place in Valladolid.

Tecvelocity.com RC participated with team drivers Juan Gonzez, Ricardo Sousa, Carlos Macias & Tiago Mendes.

It was a very challenging weekend, with periods of heavy rain alternating with sunshine, making for changing conditions throughout.

Congratulations to the whole team, including Tiago Mendes, making a well deserved podium in only his second 1/8 scale race!

The UK 1/8th IC Nationals kicked off last weekend at Halifax.

Inclement weather meant for mixed conditions throughout qualifying and the finals.

Despite the tricky conditions, some great results were had by the team.

A Final:
P2 - David Spashett 🥈
P3 - Andrew Hastings 🥉
P5 - Daniel Bancroft

B Final:
P2 - Craig Hook 🥈
P4 - Robin Gearing
P7 - Tim Wood

C Final:
P2 - Rob McKenna 🥈

Also welcoming Ralph Crampton back to the track, who was driving the VE9 alongside Adrian Dew. Unfortunately the weather prevented them from racing in the finals.

The cold and damp conditions didn't detract from the usual fun had in the pits throughout the weekend.

Next up for the 8th team will be Rounds 2 & 3 at Brookland on 3rd & 4th May.
