Considering spring kidding to increase our herd already as they are as adorable as they are effective grazers.

Starting them young in the garden is so important.
We're all born connected and empowered and I see one of my main jobs as a parent to nurture that and maintain it.
This little one lives nothing more than eating compost, wood chips and anything else he gets hold of. He's starting to get to grips with the plants being food now too!
So much to get out and get sown now that the weather is finally here for it 😁

Really held back this year after prolonged frosts, drought, heavy downpours and then madness winds.

Seen the struggle from online pals like and decided to play the patience game, though the window sills are bursting now!

Spent the morning preparing beds for transplanting and sowing with the little one alongside.

Really exciting to see all the life in the soil and how it has recovered from the condition it was in last year when I took on the site.

Even harvested some leeks, beets, chard and rocket.

How's everyone getting on with their growing projects?

I've been out of the loop for a bit.

I'm in the West Country picking apples from small orchards that would otherwise have gone to waste.

We have been pressing them into delicious juice to make cider and vinegar.

Social fires have been capturing carbon as charcoal.

All the pulp has been made into some fantastic compost piles!

I'll get some more pictures to follow.

This beautiful small crew has been wonderful to work with and reminded me of the importance of connection to eachother as well as the earth.

Feeling gratitude this morning. πŸ™

All grown at the market garden and delivered within an hour of harvest and washing.

This food hasn't been near any inorganic fertilizer, pesticide or fungicide.

It's grown in a way that increases biodiversity and improves the soil and the whole soil food web.

It feels amazing to be able to offer such nutrient rich foods to people who are keen to maintain a healthy gut and balanced diet.
