This was a job another contractor took on but was out of there depth so we was called in to rectify the work that had been started,
We ended up taking out all the material they had put down as it had no membrane underneath was the wrong material and was all at the wrong height. We then laid 4/5 inches of concrete before finishing with 900x600 porcelain tiles laid on sand and cement with every tile primed with pva sbr and cement slurry to make sure they stick as they are a non absorbent tile.
This is proof that cheap isn’t always best!!

A well overdue clean out and reshape of this little pond, the silt and leaf debris was around 8/9ft deep which meant the water was only 2ft, now all cleaned out and filling up nicely this will hold approximately 10ft of water and encourage all kinds of wildlife to use it
Topsoil stripped and Bunded around the edge to retain all the silt so it can dry out over the next few years.

This pond was built 25/30 years ago and hadn’t been touched since, we was asked to come in and clean out the silt and was told it was around 2ft deep but intact was actually around 6ft. We stripped and Bunded the soil around the top area of the pond to retain all the silt we took out which with Rototilt UK attachments this job was done on time efficiently and with ease.
