Today we attended a property where the customer was unable to unlock their door.

We successfully gained entry using non-destructive methods, ensuring no unnecessary damage to the door or frame. Once opened we identified a failed door gearbox and lock assembly as the cause of the problem.

We then replaced the faulty gearbox and lock, restoring the door to full working order and giving the customer complete peace of mind.

Another faulty door mechanism repaired today.

The gearbox had suffered an internal failure, not allowing the door to open once locked. We gained entry and replaced the complete gearbox which restored the door to full working order.

In one of the photos, you can clearly see a component that has become detached from the old gearbox – a common sign of internal wear and failure.

Another successful job completed today 🔐

A bit of a different job from the norm today 🔧

This one wasn’t about locks, but failing window and door handles that weren’t closing properly leaving the property unsecured.

Both handles have now been replaced and everything is working as it should again ✅ Customer happy and home secure.

It’s not always the lock that causes the issue, worn or faulty handles can be just as much of a security risk.
