Today we received the sad news that one of our longest-standing and most loyal customers, Peter, has sadly passed away.

Peter was one of the most genuine, kind-hearted people we have ever had the privilege of knowing. A loyal customer for over 30, plus years, he became so much more than that to us. We are absolutely devastated by this news.

Peter was a true legend—the kind of person you rarely meet in life, and if you do, you count yourself incredibly fortunate. He had a remarkable way of bringing calm, warmth, and kindness into the room every time he visited our office. He was always so grateful for even the smallest gestures, and his humility and appreciation left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Peter will be deeply missed by all of us. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

Thank you, Peter, for your loyalty, and the kindness you showed us over so many years. It was an honour to know you.

Happy 100th Birthday, Sir David! 🌍🎂

Today, all of us at BSPL are raising a glass (and maybe a wrench or two) to a true global treasure, Sir David Attenborough, on his landmark 100th birthday.

For a century, Sir David has shown us the breathtaking beauty of our planet and, more importantly, taught us why we must protect it.

His voice has been the soundtrack to our understanding of the natural world, inspiring generations to tread a little lighter on the Earth.

As a team that spends our days transitioning homes to renewable energy, we feel a special connection to his message. Every heat pump we install and every solar thermal system we commission is a small tribute to the sustainable future he has championed for decades.
