A joinery detail is only the starting point.
For it to work in the real world, it needs to respond to the walls, floors, services, access, hardware and installation conditions around it.

That’s why we get involved early. We produce our own working drawings and take complex joinery through manufacture and installation, helping the design carry through from the first detail to the finished project.

A look at a stunning new-build home we’re currently working on ✨

The bespoke library seating is now installed, alongside a bespoke media wall for a young girl’s bedroom and the bathroom shelving.

There’s plenty more to come, with further bespoke pieces still in manufacture. We’re really pleased with how everything is coming together and look forward to sharing more as the project progresses.

“What’s your job?”

We’re a small bespoke joinery manufactures, and there’s a lot more to it than cutting wood and sticking it together.

What you see at the end is the finished piece. What you don’t always see is the time that goes into getting there. 👀

Every project starts with the initial enquiry, discussing what you need, site visits, measuring, quoting, designing, producing drawings and planning the job.

Then it’s into the workshop.

Preparing materials, cutting, sanding, priming, painting, assembling and finishing. Each stage takes time, and there’s often time in between for materials and finishes to dry and cure properly before we can move onto the next stage.

Then comes the fitting, where everything is measured, adjusted and finished to make sure it fits and works exactly as it should.

There are hours of work in every project, much of which you’ll never see in the finished photo.

Bespoke joinery takes time. It takes planning, skill, patience and attention to detail, from the first measurement right through to the final fitting.

That’s what goes into creating something made specifically for you and your space. 🔨

When we say everything is bespoke… EVERYTHING is bespoke.
This library is currently in manufacture for a client’s home, complete with curved shelving, ample space for all their books, and beaded shaker detailing carried through to the window seat. Once complete, the seat will be fully upholstered by our supplier and the whole piece painted in house. Can’t wait to see this installed 📚
