Another successful project almost completed just buffer tanks and Q-ton water heating to go šŸ‘

Great to see the Clade ASHPs now installed and sitting on our structural bases.

This one came with its challenges, mainly the very tight space we had to work with. Using a traditional concrete base in this location would have been a nightmare, with difficult access, additional labour, curing times and a lot more disruption on site.

Our LGSF base system gave us a much more practical solution. We were able to get the structure into a restricted area, install it efficiently and provide a solid, purpose-built foundation ready for the heat pumps.

Itā€™s projects like this that really show where our system comes into its own. Not every site is straightforward, and sometimes the traditional way simply isnā€™t the best way.

Another good job from the team and great to see everything coming together.

Ground investigation and testing is now underway for our next heat pump base project.

As part of our quality assurance process, we are carrying out pressure load testing on the ground screws to verify their performance and suitability for the proposed foundation design. The screws are being tested to 40kN, incorporating a 50% safety factor, resulting in a working load capacity of 20kN per screw.

This testing ensures our foundation system delivers the strength, reliability, and long-term performance required for heat pump installations, while continuing to provide a sustainable alternative to traditional concrete foundations.
