Whether you fancy a go on- or offstage, we're open to all regardless of ability or experience. Stane Street Players are the local non professional drama group operating in the Halstead and Earls Colne area. We put on 2 or 3 shows every year including a pantomime, and perform at either Earls Colne Village Hall or the Empire Theatre in Halstead
New members are very welcome, regardless of experience
, and we are always looking for people to help backstage, with set construction, lighting and sound, or front of house, as well as those who want to ‘tread the boards’
We also welcome younger people who wish to be involved with our Pantomime productions
We are a very sociable group and organise various social events throughout the year for our members, from Theatre trips to visits to local vineyards, eating out and after show events, Bonfire night parties and summer picnics.
