I am about to start offering my own designs of hand built, solid hardwood, jewelry boxes. These are fully lined with velour, have trays for rings, bangles, brooches, necklaces, etc, and the lid engraved with a name of your choice. Hinges and catch are in antique bronze finish, and the completed box will have a waxed satin finish inside and out.

If there is any interest, I will post a couple of photos of recent ones that I have built, so please let me know if you'd like to see and hear more about them (I can't post photos of them just yet as they are gifts for the recipients, and I don't want to spoil the surprise!).

What a busy year 2025 was in the workshop. Thanks to all new and returning customers for making it another successful year.

There will be another couple of new items coming up in 2026. One I haven't got a proper name for it yet, so for now its the "KX Altenew Rack" - to hold the round Altenew Ink pads. This is based on my "KX PanPastel Rack" but with slightly larger holes. If anyone would like to be one of the first to receive it, just order the "KX PanPastel Rack" via my website (the price will be the same) and add the comment "for 70 mm Altenew pads" when ordering - I'll do the rest and confirm your order.

UPDATE: The "KX Altenew Inkpad Rack" is now ready to order. It has a total of 8 drawers; 7 with recessed holes to hold 14 Altenew 70 mm round ink pads (total capacity of 98 pads), plus a flat-bottomed drawer to hold your associated bits and bobs. Price is £79.95 including delivery to any UK postcode. As I haven't had time to add it to my website yet, and as mentioned above, just order the "KX PanPastel Rack" and leave a message for me at check-out "Altenew InkPads", I'll do the rest.

My "KX Pencil Racks" are still as popular as ever and used by colour pencil artists worldwide, with almost 1500 having been built and sold! Priced at £64.95 each including shipping to all UK mainland postcodes (overseas buyers please contact me for information on how to order yours). The 10 drawer cabinet holds 25 pencils per drawer (total of 250 pencils). The pencil grooves are machined into the drawer bases. For those who just want plain bottomed drawers to store various items in, there is also the KX Cabochon Rack version - identical except there are no grooves in the drawer bases.

Do you use Stampin' Up! products, or are a SU Demonstrator? If so, I have a range of storage units for their classic ink pads (old and newer versions), lockdown punches, Stampin Write pens and markers, etc.

All are designed to fit in the IKEA Kallax cubes (or similar), or can be used free-standing.
