Well isn’t this one a beauty! This has to be one of my favourite Oak Frame Porches so far, and it sits along side an Oak Framed Gazebo and Rose Arch that we built a year ago. It was a complete pain to build and roof due to how close it was to the house but we got there. Rosemary tiles on the roof was a first for me as well, and I’d love to use them again, what a great finish 👌 On to the next one

EPOXY RESIN…… oh how I’ve missed you!!! I said in the previous video I was going to fill this Milwaukee sign with resin, so today that’s what we did. It didn’t go exactly to plan but we got there in the end! I’ve enjoyed making this for no other reason than being a maker is fun, and I love trying new things. Next up….. a clear top coat. And yes I’m already having flash backs to the tables 🤣

Sometimes it’s fun to just try…… even if you don’t really think it’s going to work!!! And sometimes you surprise yourself. I had a scrap of this walnut veneered MDF left over so I thought it would try some freehand routing….. and I was nervous as the small tests had not gone well 🤣 But anyway I persevered and made a very cool looking Milwaukee sign for the workshop. Now the question is, do I fill it with resin or not? Let me know 👊

I think this is one of…. If not THE prettiest Oak Framed Porches we’ve built! There were some challenges though, and I had to get in to some really awkward positions to finish off the roof with Rosemary Tiles.

I’ve fitted a lot of guttering over the years, but never anything as FANCY as this! And let me tell you, this stuff looks amazing.

I think you can probably tell whose garden I was in for this job…….. the £1,000,000 garden!

I’ve never fitted this product before but it was supplied as a complete kit with everything you needed. But never has the saying ‘Measure twice, cut once’ been more appropriate.

The end result as I’m sure you will agree is stunning, and over time the copper will age and show a lovely patina.

When you get the opportunity to work on a £1 MILLION garden, you don’t turn it down! I teamed up with Britmet Lightweight Roofing to help Lawn Stripes and Hedges - Limited install a new roof on his YouTube studio. We used the Britmet Shingle here in Raven, to match the buildings cladding. The roofing is made from Aluzinc steel and comes with a 50 YEAR guarantee! What a great roof in a truly amazing garden!

An Oak Framed Gazebo to cover this home garden sauna and ice bath. What a magnificent addition to this amazing garden and property. This one had its challenges as we had to build it with the sauna and ice bath in place…… and they’re both EXPENSIVE! Originally the plan was to have them out in the open, but the local fraternity of pigeons kept leaving unwanted deposits! Hence this flat roof gazebo with a rubber roof, sitting perfectly under the trees 👌
