Little update on Alistair's Room, got a few little bits to mop up in here such as brass details and door stays. Eventually I'm going to re-make the big arched windows in this room and another in the house when I come to do the hallway and landing.
I'll go through some other footage and put a little reel together of the work gone into Alistair's room, looking forward to getting on with Mallory's room next 😃😃

Meet the team!
Seen some other business’s jumping on this trend and thought I’d have a go!
There isn’t a load of people here carrying on with their own jobs in a team effort, it’s just little old me for the best part.
I do sub-contract in installation teams for other scopes of work in larger contracts, but the barebones of this thing is just me and support from my family.
Would I change anything? Absolutely not!
It’s took 4 years to build what we have so far, the future years are what all the hard work and sacrifice was for!

Just a little snippet from the Linden Grove restoration work to their front entrances.
Scribed tenons are formed prior to running the profile to prevent any tear out on the scribe, I then like to run my profile whilst I still have square stock to maintain good contact with the machine bed and the fence, the next part of the process is to machine a saddle to capture the rebate we run next to capture any glazing and the front door itself, that stops the stock twisting through the spindle moulder as it’s fed in, especially towards the end when there is little to no support left.
It can be a lengthy process that most customers don’t get to see, but the results are always worth sticking to a traditional process!🪵🪚✏️

Finally have a proper space at home to work from! It’s a dream to do my design work in here with a constant reminder of the skill and artistic traits of Victorian craftsmen around me, I may be viewed as a bit of an eccentric by some but I think you need to be in the hope of performing to these standards long forgotten.
We do have a few jobs to do in here starting with replacing the ghastly fire insert that has been installed which absolutely ruins the fire surround, changing the wall paper, light fittings and renovating the floor.

A quick facelift for Meal Castle in Newcastle.
Sterling board was used for spray printing the paintings to give them a texture and the effect of an oil painting.
New counter front, some coloured slats rebated to take colour changing LED’s and Hey Presto… it’s a different environment.

A bespoke reception manufactured and installed by ourselves for this school.

The idea was to replace the old reception which was pretty much a desk setup to this taller reception with toughened glass panels for the safety of the staff after some recurring assaults on staff members.
The reception has a DDA compliant area for wheelchair users and his since reduced assaults on staff members over the year that it has been installed.

Full shop fit out for at their Grainger Market store located in the heart of Newcastle Centre.
After surveying multiple locations in the market for the new shop location we finally got given this blank canvas to work in.
It was a pleasure to manufacture and install for a company with such a rich heritage and long standing reputation.
Pumphreys have roots way back to the year 1750 so it really was a great honour to be a part of their journey.
If any of my followers are Coffee or Tea drinkers I’d recommend the trip to the store to sample their wealth of stock which can be bought in small amounts or in bulk.
