Another one bites the dust 💨

This one was problem after problem, through no fault of the customers or mine.

Walls everywhere but plumb, flooring like a trampoline, walls built with a wet paper level… made out of the toughest brick possible 😂!

But all made good in the end 👍

New office room/utility for this customer.

Big job on boxing pipes, and renewing skirting along walls that are as bent as sir Elton John 🏳️‍🌈

WOWZERRRR….

Never worked with skirting this size, my mitre saw wasn’t big enough to cut it so the owld rip and hand saw out 🥵

This makes a huge statement in this house, matches the similar sized coving too.

Breezeblocks removed, lintel fitted for extra support, new door casing and the door has been swung 🔨✏️🧰

More graft than I anticipated, but we got there in the end 👊🏼

Sliding wardrobes fitted for a very happy customer 😀

Had to build the base up to the right height for the doors to sit securely between both rails.

Nouts a bother… bath panel? 🛀 yeah welli done and dusted, apprentice gear…

WRONGGGGG!!!

Bath set mm’s away from being too high for the panel…
Bath not level, drifting off to the right…
Floor not level, drifting off to the left…
Walls on either side not plumb…

BUT we got there in the end 👏🏼 & the text I received this morning set me off to a good start 💙

Frame fitted, panel built up and fixed to the frame, signed sealed and delivered.

Enjoyable job today modifying some wardrobes to create more space in a bedroom that wasn’t built for that purpose.

Cut the wardrobes to match the ceiling slope but still maintaining enough height for a clothing rail.

Finished off with an end panel flush with the door which is getting painted to match the walls and some shelving in the corner for the owld bits and bobs 😂
