FactoryMaster was established in 1991 as a general software house and system supplier called Comsolt. The company was offering various individual manual work order records and registers. In 1992 Graham Scott, the company founder, started working on improving the product which resulted in a first version of FactoryMaster being written in a pre-Windows language. By 1996, FactoryMaster had grown, and the first version of Windows-based FactoryMaster was launched. Today
FactoryMaster today is a product that’s not standing still, but developing in line with the industry dynamics, current customers’ demands and foreseen future business requirements. Since the very first release of FactoryMaster, we have been continuously developing and adding new functionality to the product every month. Today’s high-precision industries form a key area of the companies target market. However, there are other areas of growing importance, such as the new opportunities, in new sectors. We are also proud to have many partners and consultants all over the world who provide professional support, advice and guidance to our customers globally. We are contributing towards automating as much of our supply chain procedures as possible, from customer through to manufacturer and suppliers. We are now looking into ways of providing more advanced integration links with third party modules like accounting, CAD/CAM and nesting software. Another priority is incorporating remote functionality and latest 2D and 3D barcode technologies along with RFID, finger print recognition and automated e-trading links with customers, suppliers and sub-contractors.
