Me, My Spade & I We are an Oxfordshire based gardening company, specialising in design, landscaping and maintaining your garden.

Hello and thank you for taking time to look at our page. We are an ever expanding gardening company, specialising in garden design, landscaping and maintenance, we take pride in bringing the chelsea flower show to your slice of England. We have been established since 2003 and I have personally been a gardener since 2000, first starting in Friar Park which is currently owned by the son of

the late George Harrison, falling in love with that garden started me on my way to owning Me, my spade & I. Since then I have gone on to look after and still look after some very large gardens through out Oxfordshire and in to the famous Wentworth estate, we are currently in our 10th year with some gardens so our hard work and dedication shows in the length of time we have been employed by these customers, becoming virtually family members with some. Although we do look after large gardens and grounds, don't let that put you off inquiring about us, one of my personal favourite gardens is a small garden residing in Sutton Courtney, oxfordshire, it is approximately 40 meters in length and 15 meters wide, it is an Aladdin's cave of unusual plants and landscape design so as they say "no job to small or large"

It’s often the old bits of a garden that give it the most character.

Old stone troughs, walls, steps and features like this have probably been sitting there for years, and with a bit of thought they can become a really nice part of the garden again.

After weeks of summer heat, dry ground and stressed grass, many lawns are looking tired, thin and a little worse for wear.

But with rain hopefully on the way, now is the perfect time to start the recovery process.

At Me, My Spade & I, lawn care is a big part of what we do — and the lawns in these photos show what can be achieved with the right care, at the right time. 👌🌿

As the ground begins to soften and moisture returns, we can start giving lawns what they need to recover from summer and prepare for the months ahead.

Due to continued growth at Me, My Spade & I Gardens, we’re looking to expand our landscaping team and have opportunities available for both a Skilled Landscaper and a Non-Skilled Landscaper/Labourer.

We work on a wide variety of landscaping projects across Oxfordshire, from patios, paving and timber work to complete garden transformations, planting and finishing.

For the skilled position, we’re looking for someone with good landscaping experience, a strong work ethic and pride in producing work to a high standard.

For the non-skilled position, experience isn’t essential. What matters is that you’re reliable, hardworking, keen to learn and happy to get stuck in. Training and the opportunity to develop your landscaping skills will be provided.

We offer year-round work, competitive pay, training and development, and the chance to become part of a friendly, hardworking team.
