Demolition day! 🚧
Out with the old and in with the new. Today we brought in the digger to take down the existing extension and clear the way for the next stage of the project.

There’s something seriously satisfying about watching a demolition timelapse 💥

Another small extension underway this week! ✅
We dismantled the original flimsy out-house, dug and poured the footings, and got the blockwork up to lintel height (picture isn’t quite lintel height).

It’s a single-skin build with blocks laid on their bellies for the doorway to give it extra strength and support 💪

This will be used as a utility room for a washing machine and tumble dryer.

More updates to come over the next few days as it starts to take shape 🏗️

Day 4 ✅
Ramp poured and drains raised today 💪

A big step forward as the ramp is now in place and starting to take its final shape. Getting the levels right and the pour down smoothly has made a big difference to the overall finish.

The project is really starting to come together now 🧱🏗️
