A lovely period property that we have been frequenting lately, completing some external lighting upgrades and a few other minor bits throughout. This property is a real statement, and has stood through two world wars (and maybe a third incoming 👀) which really goes to show that they don’t build them like they used to. Such an awesome house!

We have been progressively working through the new Kurt J Lesker building floor by floor, to upgrade all of the internal ceiling lighting to LED panels - almost 200 internally replaced so far. The energy savings will be more than noticeable, and the difference in light output is night and day (literally!).

Improved office lighting can actually increase productivity, and reduce headaches/eye strain, all whilst saving money on the electric bill. Plus the added bonus of a sleek modern appearance, it’s a no brainer!

GP Electrical KTM’s latest and final signing for the 2021 season is in the form of rising future star, Eddie Pelling. We’re so glad to have him on board our factory machine for the season, he’s definitely one to watch!

‘Im so glad to be onboard and be able to send huge whips and scrubs this year on the GP KTM’ said Eddie about the surprise signing.

Now to start the pre season training in preparation for all those hole shots! 🏁

Who would love a kitchen like this 😍😍

Here’s a sneak peek of an amazing project we’ve been finishing up this week. We were instructed to design the whole electrical system, including a bespoke lighting design to sympathetically compliment this beautiful kitchen, as well as sounds and further power requirements.

From start to finish, we have taken the lead with this one and I personally think it has created an absolutely stunning place to entertain!

Lighting tip of the day - Washing light down textured surfaces enhances and brings depth to the materials, giving the texture added ‘wow factor’ and character.. plus it looks great too!

To all of my friends & customers.

I have been noticing a large rise in burglaries & thefts at business premises this last week alone, due to businesses being closed and vacant. This is a hard enough time for us all, without having the worry of your business broken into. I strongly recommend using this time to have a think about upgrading your security, mainly in the forms of CCTV and intruder alarms.

Whilst your businesses are closed, we can safely conduct a security survey and instruct you of how best to protect your business premises. We will then follow this up with a detailed & structured quotation of the necessary works, and finally complete the works upon acceptance of the quote.

We will not be entering or performing any works in any buildings/premises which are not empty and closed, as I am only offering this service on a minimal risk basis. I can imagine there will be people who will not agree with the decision to offer this service at this time, which I am open to discussion about too.

I also know there are different views on who should or shouldn’t be at work right now, and everyone has different ideas on what is classed as ‘essential work’, but after seeking advice I am happy that working in closed business premises in total isolation is within the recommended guidelines of permitted works at this current time. I also feel like this is ‘essential’ due to the nature of the situation, and the predicted rise in crime due to this. I intend for any enquiries and/or works to be instructed with total sensitivity, and with minimal risk to everyone. I also see this as a perfect opportunity to have the works completed whilst the premises, which would usually be busy, is empty - thus not disturbing any future custom.

We are still operating for domestic and commercial/industrial emergency call outs too!
