A little job completed Steeple Bumpstead, where we took out and old block paved pathway, that had some dangerous steps that were more trip hazards than steps.

We supplied and installed new pin kerbs down both sides at one level taking away the steps. We then added some Tobermore KL kerbs in charcoal to create a proper step into the house, and Infilled with a Tobermore regular trio also in charcoal. Instead of using kiln dried sand to fill the joint and lock the block together we used a polymeric sand (or setting sand) in cast iron colour.

Thanks to Huws Gray Haverhill Tommy Parker for supplying blocks, sand cement and KL Kerbs.

Someone say new shed!

This customer approached us and ask…… can you recommend somewhere to buy a shed and we will pay you to construct it.

We said, we can make one a lot stronger than you can buy. So with a site visit and a few measurements, we built this shed on site.

We literally pushed the old shed over, and Using 4x2 treated timbers, constructed the shell on top of an 18mm OSB floor. Cladded the sides in green treated tongue and groove, install and felted the 18mm OSB roof, and Built and install the door with gatemate locking system.

Finally we had Kurt Hatfield of star electrical come by and installed some new electrics, giving and double socket and a new LED light all on a new isolater.

before and after of a small job completed last week.

All joints ground out on this tired looking patio. Brick wall was scrubbed clean on of moss, and given an acid wash and pressure washed.

Joint were then re-pointed using traditional sand and cement (we used white cement really making the colours pop). We then used landscaping batten to create a clever little screening and create a shelf/ extra seating on a small unusable unsightly wall.
